21 Day Fast Day 15

Today is Week 3 day 15 of our 21 Day Fast, January 22, 2024.

Welcome to the last leg of our January fasting journey. It’s in the last lap that the race is won! Let’s finish in power and victory. Revelation 3:7-8 (ESV) 7 “And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write: ‘The words of the holy one, the true one, who has the key of David, who opens and no one will shut, who shuts and no one opens. 8 “I know your works. Behold, I have set before you an open door, which no one is able to shut. I know that you have but little power, and yet you have kept my word and have not denied my name.”

Yesterday we had a wonderful service as I touched upon God’s favor on us by giving us a new opportunity to cooperate with the Holy Spirit and advance the Kingdom of God. Our union with New Life Christian Church is going to open a whole new avenue for God to do something great. As I have said, this was not my idea, but I totally believe it was God’s. He has called us to work with him to see Putnam Lake and Brewster come alive in the Spirit. Let’s continue to bathe this in prayer. You have a part to play in this!

Ezra 1:1-4 (ESV)
1 In the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, that the word of the LORD by the mouth of Jeremiah might be fulfilled, the LORD stirred up the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia, so that he made a proclamation throughout all his kingdom and also put it in writing: 2  “Thus says Cyrus king of Persia: The LORD, the God of heaven, has given me all the kingdoms of the earth, and he has charged me to build him a house at Jerusalem, which is in Judah. 3 Whoever is among you of all his people, may his God be with him, and let him go up to Jerusalem, which is in Judah, and rebuild the house of the LORD, the God of Israel—he is the God who is in Jerusalem.
4 And let each survivor, in whatever place he sojourns, be assisted by the men of his place with silver and gold, with goods and with beasts, besides freewill offerings for the house of God that is in Jerusalem.”

This is such an exciting story. The companion book of Nehemiah follows suit. It’s well worth reading, (Not to mention the whole Bible) I believe we’re entering into a sovereign move of God here. That might sound lofty, but God is in charge. It’s his church, not mine, not yours, it’s HIS. God brings a residual blessing over those who cooperate with him.

Numbers 6:24-26 (ESV) 24 The LORD bless you and keep you; 25 the LORD make his face to shine upon you and be gracious to you; 26 the LORD lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace.

Love and blessings,

Pastor Ray
