21 Day Fast Day 9
on January 14th, 2025
It’s day 9 and I trust you are encouraged! I like that we’re doing this together. I believe there is strength in numbers, even if it’s just moral support. But it is more than that! We are praying for one another. If you’ve forgotten that part, get back on board. (Especially for me, Ha!) We all need the boost. Check out these encouraging verses that emphasize the point.1. Ecclesiastes 4:9-12 - "Two...  Read More

21 Day Fast Day 8
on January 13th, 2025
I was thinking about this, that while we are experiencing an inconvenience in our normal routines, the price we’re paying is miniscule in respect to the price our Savior and Lord paid for us. This is a time for us to be introspective about our lives; meditating on the gifts the Lord has provided and taking stock of ourselves to become who he always intended us to be. Meditate on the following vers...  Read More

21 Day Fast Day 7
on January 12th, 2025
Today is the Lord’s Day and the 7th day of our fast. God rested on the 7th day. He was setting a precedent for us. We need rest but the real rest we need is Jesus. He is our Sabbath rest. We can get anxious about so many things and allow worry to capture our hearts and minds. Jesus wants us to look to him, trusting that he is really in control. I heard someone say that the greatest waste of time h...  Read More

21 Day Fast Day 6
on January 11th, 2025
I trust that you are being encouraged. Each day that passes is a day of victory. God is working in us and through us. If you’ve been in the church for any length of time you will have heard me speak on the nature of God, that is, his being. Before there was anything, God existed. There was no TIME. There was no universe. There wasn’t even SPACE. There was just God! Then he spoke and everything cam...  Read More

21 Day Fast Day 5
on January 10th, 2025
Welcome to day 5. We’re to just take it one day at a time and before you know it, we’ll be celebrating a victory! God is good and he is pleased with us. Be encouraged even if you accidently ate because you forgot. Ha! It happens. But get back in the saddle and be encouraged. God is with you! I’ve had times in the past when I felt less spiritual when I was fasting. It’s just not true! There is an e...  Read More

21 Day Fast Day 4
on January 9th, 2025
I trust you’re doing well. I don’t know anyone who thinks fasting is fun. We probably have our moments, but we’re in a weird place. It’s not natural. But it is what the Lord is looking for us to do. He wants us to experience and develop some spiritual muscles. God is working to bring us into a greater depth of knowing him. Jesus gave one of his most famous sermons beginning in Matthew chapter 5. L...  Read More

21 Day Fast Day 3
on January 8th, 2025
We had a wonderful prayer meeting last night at the church. We decided to take our normal Tuesday Bible Study and take three of the nights to pray. (last night, 1-14 and 1-21) It was a powerful time. We also have an hour-long prayer meeting every Wednesday morning at the church beginning at 10:00am. Prayer is a powerful weapon against the forces of darkness as well as a time of being uplifted and ...  Read More

21 Day Fast Day 2
on January 7th, 2025
This is day 2 of our 21 day fast and I wanted to encourage you to stick to it! You’ll be glad you did. I’ve heard of people who had forgotten about the fast and ate normally and then remembered but figured “Oh well I missed it. Maybe next time…” No, we should just jump on board, thank God for what we got to eat and dive back in! He’ll be pleased with that!Jesus fasted. You could think, “Why would ...  Read More

You can do it! Don’t overthink it. Ask the Lord to direct you and go with what you think. Then stick to it.Let’s also remember to pray for one another. This is a corporate fast as well as a personal on...  Read More

21 Day Fast Intro
on January 5th, 2025
Dear Church Family, Happy New Year!!! This has been an amazing year for our church family. God blessed us with the union of Grace Community Church and New Life Christian Church. My dear friend, Pastor Tony Kober felt from the Lord that he finished his assignment at New Life and asked me to pray about joining our two churches into one. We prayed and knew it was God’s will. So on April 8, 2024 Pasto...  Read More
