21 Day Fast Day 9
It’s day 9 and I trust you are encouraged! I like that we’re doing this together. I believe there is strength in numbers, even if it’s just moral support. But it is more than that! We are praying for one another. If you’ve forgotten that part, get back on board. (Especially for me, Ha!) We all need the boost. Check out these encouraging verses that emphasize the point.
1. Ecclesiastes 4:9-12 - "Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up. Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm. But how can one keep warm alone? Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken."
2. Proverbs 27:17 - "As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another."
3. Matthew 18:20 - "For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them."
4. 1 Corinthians 12:14 - "For the body does not consist of one member but of many."
5. Hebrews 10:24-25 - "And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near."
As we’ve been talking about for a while God is all about FAMILY! He created us for his own pleasure and went to great lengths, per se, to make a beautiful earth for us to dwell on and an unimaginable universe for us to be awe inspired by, and we haven’t seen anything yet!. There is a depth to God’s plan for us that we can’t imagine. It’s his family and we’re part of it.
Let’s continue to delve into the depths of the things God has done for us. 1 Corinthians 2:9 (ESV)
9 But, as it is written, “What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man imagined, what God has prepared for those who love him”—
