Connect Groups are the heartbeat of the church. So much of what we hear can sound so theoretical, but when we meet together personally that’s when it comes alive. God created us as social beings. We’re all different, yet we all have similar needs. We all need relationships. That’s why we’re called the Body of Christ. A body has many parts, but must be connected together to become energized.
INFO NIGHT: Tuesday, September 14th at 6:30pm at 2 Marvin Ave. Brewster.

Read some of the supporting Scriptures for why we do what we do:
1 If you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from his love, if any fellowship with the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, 2 then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and purpose. 3 Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves. 4 Each of you should look not only to your own interests but also to the interests of others.(NIV)
16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom, and as you sing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God. 17 And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him. (NIV)
24 And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds. (NIV)
I John 1:5-7
5 This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all. 6 If we claim to have fellowship with him yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live by the truth. 7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin. (NIV)
I John 4:11-12
11 Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. 12 No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us. (NIV)
