21 Day Fast Day 14

I hope after nearly completing 2 full weeks, you’re experiencing some sense of satisfaction. It’s given you more time to think, strategize, dream, pray, read, repent, spend more time communicating with your spouse, children, etc. You can also get a sense of satisfaction that you were able to do what you didn’t think you could. For others it may be that you gave up because you weren’t able to be completely faithful to the task. Well, guess what? There’s still a week left. You can get on board now and receive the same reward (personal satisfaction and the favor of God) as the ones who did it perfectly. It’s certainly not a competition, but rather an opportunity to ask for God’s help to take a step of faith. I believe you’ll be glad if you do it. Let these verses encourage you.

Psalm 37:23-24 - "The Lord makes firm the steps of the one who delights in him; though he may stumble, he will not fall, for the Lord upholds him with his hand."

2 Corinthians 12:9 - "But he said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.' Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me."

Proverbs 24:16 - "For though the righteous fall seven times, they rise again, but the wicked stumble when calamity strikes."

Romans 8:28 - "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose."

Psalm 51:17 - "My sacrifice, O God, is a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart you, God, will not despise."

Isaiah 61:3 - "To bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair."

Isaiah 40:29 - "He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak."

Love and Blessings,

Pastor Ray
